Dear Senator Nelson;

My name is Perri Pryor, and I am from Bellevue, NE. First thank you for your continued public service to the state of Nebraska. I am writing because the US Senate is deeply divided and partisan, and I believe one issue which may help with this is instituting term limits on all Senators. I understand it's an issue which has been broached before, but the need for it is greater than ever.

Public service should be an honor and duty, not a career. Too many public servants are deeply entrenched in their districts and serve interests, rather than constituents.

I am writing to you today to ask you as my district representative to support the 28th Amendment proposal.  I do not agree with unlimited terms, exclusions for members of our government for things like paying back of student loans, full retirement after only one term, exemption from participating in the health care reform. I you to make my position known, as only you can, that the leaders of this country should be subject to each and every law that every other citizen of this country is subject to.
